  We opted for the superior double package with overnight stay, we were resident in the Aphrodite Palace. First issue, No English speaking reception staff. Room, adequately designed with aircon. But the hotel owner has removed all kettles from ALL rooms because they are considered risky for children (My wife and I are over 21). The hotel employs a strict no smoking policy so guests are encouraged to stand outside the main entrance where a large overflowing ashtray bin is situated (great visual image for a 4+star establishment) No designated area, nowhere to sit and enjoy their cigars etc. Certainly a case of blatant discrimination toward smokers. Day-trippers come to use the facilities all day and when the pools and saunas close one would imagine those people who have paid to stay in the hotel would then get to fully benefit from the afterhours facilities. The large and opulent dining room stops serving at 10PM. As the day trippers and walk in customers are leaving! Surely we who are resident at the hotel will be entitled to eat through the night if we so wish. NO! Perhaps 24hr room service? Dream on. Ok, then let us retire to the bar, we may not be able to enjoy our cigar and brandy inside but at least we can while away a few hours enjoying a relaxing drink or two with friends. No. The bar closes at 11pm. I paid to stay in a 4+star hotel where I cant eat or drink anything but the contents of my bedroom bar fridge after 11pm. Needless to say I will not be going back. On a positive note. The food was first class.

  very poor services according to quite high prices. owner have recently destroyed local historical monument because of insurance fraud. locals organised silent protest and they are secretly peeing into the pools. police is not working in this country, so this disgusting action is the only way. dont go there.

  It is a very nice hotel. It is not my style, but some people like this particular style. The food there was great, service also good. They have a wellness that is connected with the main hotel with a bridge so you can walk from your room to the wellness across the street just in a bathrobe. The bridge is heated in the winter. The pools are great, there is also a bar there that makes good cocktails.

  I cannot recommend this hotel. The staff lack training, lifeguards are non visible, management only works until 5 p.m. and does not have any representation after that or on weekends. It was necessary to speak to 8 people to clean up human excrement at the poolside and took 2 hours to complete

  Great wellness. Great service. Nice rooms. One star down for expensive dinner. Dont get me wrong. It was good but not great for what i would expect for the price.
