  As an avid traveller I have gone to many hostels all over the world. I was very disappointed of the quality of the room for the price we paid. We stayed in a private room in #206. The room smelled of bleach and everything seemed to be clean. However, the bathroom started smelling of sewage, our neighbours in 207 were extremely loud and upstairs it was as though someone was jumping up and down. The sheets had gaping holes in them. Neither of the soap dispensers worked and so we had to grab soap by removing the top of the soap dispenser. Look on both sides of your pillow because I slept on a dirty pillow, only to find out the next morning- it looked as though someone had stepped on it with a dirty shoe. The reception was friendly, and Bratislava is a beautiful city. The location was perfect, however the room was gross.

  Don't let the name "hostel" deceive you. It's a lot more like a room-renting place. You get your own room for 2 3 or 4 people, they're clean (cleaning ladies are more efficient and friendly if you compare them with the usual hostel cleaning staff), spacious and reasonably priced in the Bratislava context. Showers are also much better than probably any hostel you've been at, and even if sometimes guests are noisy, the experience is positive. I'm sure if they would call it city hotel, guests would behave better. Also, Danka was the best receptionist ever, treat her respectfully if you see her :D

  Nice hostel, in a good location. Clean and upkeep. It's a little bit loud, but everything else is ok

  It is very near to city center. And there are many cafes, restaurants and markets surrounding the hostel. And it is really cheap, clean and comfortable. You can prefer without thinking.

  Positive: Considering the price we paid, the room was good. Big window, clean, ideal size, good restroom and great shower. P.S:we stayed in a double room, with private restroom. The location is great, you can do everything by walking. (except Devin Castle, which you need to go by bus) After check out, we could let our luggage there. To be improved: The toilet paper was worst quality possible. Even the public places in Bratislava had a much better one. The linen sheets were not so clean and were scratched.
