  The guards here take their job VERY seriously. They are armed and will glare at you if you so much as look in their general vicinity. There is a big, ugly fence, and it is easy to accidentally wander up to it when taking a shortcut. While I understand their edginess, especially given some of the tensions in the area, it is not very nice to have people (with guns!) in public glaring at you from behind a fence.
